Fantastic overview! Does it cover US 3g frequencies (850 and 1900 for AT&t)? I’m sure LTE won’t be compatible state side, but if 3g works, I may try to get my friend in Korea to get one for me! =) Thanks!
What the specs say might be incomplete. The hardware may support more frequencies and I think the way to test is by dialing *#*#197328640#*#* and go to:
[1] Debug Screen+[8] Phone Control+[7] Network Control+[2] Band Selection
Try to select each band and it will get [*] if the band is supported.
Let me know.
@Boris – Sorry but I don’t want to start messing around in service menus.
@Konrad – Maybe you can get your friend in Korea to confirm the frequencies from Samsung over here. Or you could just wait until it comes to the States, I don’t think it’ll be too long!

Hi Konrad, here are all the frequencies the phone covers:
LTE:
TX – 824MHz – 839MHz
RX – 869MHz – 884MHz
WCDMA:
TX – 1922MHz – 1977MHz
RX – 2112MHz – 2167MHz
GSM:
TX – 880MHz – 914MHz
RX – 925MHz – 959MHz
